What does Miami's loss against Oakland mean?

TL;DR: Its Bad News, but at least we scored some points this week. What does it mean? Well It doesn't look good that's for sure but let us see what we can break down and figure out what lies ahead for us Dolphans. First the obvious. Yesterday's game (11/05/2017 for those from the future) ended 27-24 Oakland victory. That means Miami falls to .500 again at 4-4 and the Raiders improve to 4-5. Miami is still one game behind due to hurricane Irma forcing our game against the Buccs to be moved to week 11. We find ourselves in a bad position and even though last season we made it to the playoffs, we may not even go positive this season. The Good News? We scored points. I know it's a dumb thing to say but we got shut out by the Ravens the week before in a 0-40 slaughter, so being we put up 24 points and lost by only 3 is a step in the right direction if nothing else. Should the Dolphins attempt to get Eli Manning?

It's a tantalizing thought. From the fiasco we have encountered this season it would stand with reason that we would consider it. But is it the right move? Albeit this is all just theoretical and opinions since we are not sure what the future has for Eli Manning (younger brother to the legendary Peyton Manning) but its fun to speculate so let's dig into it! First, lets look at our current situation: Cutler, Moore, and Tannehill. Cutler has proven to be a bust. with less than 1% chance of getting into the playoffs we are more likely to get a top 10 pick in the draft (60%) than make a playoff run. He was not the answer we needed. Moore? Well, he is not consistent. Think back if you can to the Chad Henne days. he had his moments of glory but failed in consistency. somedays he was amazing, other days he was highschooler quality. Moore is in that same boat.
